3J Partners acted as advisor to the seller in the sale of TyöSyke Oy’s shares to Terveystalo. Terveystalo Oyj has acquired the shares of TyöSyke Oy with a transaction completed on 30.8.2019.
TyöSyke Oy is an occupational health care provider and sellers in the transaction were city of Hämeenlinna, municipality consortium of the health care district of Kanta-Häme, city of Riihimäki, Riihimäki area health center’s municipality consortium, municipalities of Hausjärvi and Janakkala and other subsidiaries of in the city group of the city of Hämeenlinna.
Transaction was executed in an innovative way in which the sale of shares and competitive bidding of service contracts were combined. The principle of “improving partnership” was followed in the competitive bidding, which ensured the sellers with a good transaction price and high-quality occupational health care services in the future. The buyer is also provided with certainty to its long-term co-operation with the sellers.
In the future Terveystalo can utilize its wider shoulders to provide better and more versatile occupational health care services. Additionally, Terveystalo can better respond to the development of the industry and digitalization.
