Leden Group buys Konepaja Stamac
3J Partners Oy acted as financial advisor to the buyer
in a transaction where Leden Group Oy, a leading Finnish contract manufacturer in the metal industry, strengthens its machining services by acquiring Konepaja Stamac Oy from Seinäjoki. Stamac is one of Finland’s leading machining shops specializing in machining, milling and turning for international companies in the transportation and machinery manufacturing industries. Stamac’s turnover is approximately EUR 17.5 million and the company employs 64 people.
With the acquisitions made this autumn aligning with the growth strategy (Heromechanics Oy and Konepaja Stamac Oy), Leden Group’s turnover will rise to approximately EUR 100 million and the company will employ more than 500 people.
“With this acquisition, we are significantly strengthening our machining operations to support our robust sheet metal production. We offer our customers a broad range of services, and Leden is now a stronger player in machining. This move also supports our profitable growth in line with our strategy. This fall, we will exceed the 100-million-euro threshold, a fantastic achievement for us at Leden,” comments Jukka Haapalainen, CEO of Leden Group.

Leden Group Oy is an international contract manufacturer of metal and electromechanics that acts as a partner in the manufacture of various metal products from complex systems to smaller components. The company’s revenue in 2023 was EUR 85.2 million, and at the turn of the year, Leden employed approximately 430 people. Leden Group is currently investing in a large production facility, and Northern Europe’s most modern contract manufacturing plant will be completed in Oulainen at the end of 2024.
