Juuri Partners invested in Imagon Group
3J Partners Oy acted as advisor to the seller and Imagon Group, when private equity company Juuri Partners invested in Imagon Group. Imagon Group is a leading Nordic signage solution provider with turnover of over € 20 million.
Juuri Partners will become Imagon Group’s minority owner with shares purchased from the founder of the company, Arto Okkonen, and a long-term employee, Juha Heikkinen. 3J Partners Oy acted as financial advisor to the seller in the sale of shares. Additionally, 3J Partners Oy acted as advisor to Imagon Group in a financing deal, with which Juuri Partners enables the execution of The Company’s growth strategy. Resuming as other partners are chairman of the board Mika Okkonen, CEO Marko Mäkitalo, CFO Samuli Heikkilä and production manager Mikko Okkonen.
Based in Kajaani, Finland, Imagon Group has provided numerous city centers and public sites in Finland with its signage solutions. “Juuri Partners’ investment allows a generational change while The Company is still firmly controlled by the next generation and a functioning management team. At the same time, we get both strategic and financial support for our growth strategy, which is based on the idea that Imagon is headquartered in Kajaani, but target market is the whole of Northern Europe”, says CEO Marko Mäkitalo.
