Sale of VIP-Sähkö to Instalco
3J Partners acted as advisor to the seller in the sale of VIP-Sähkö to Instalco. Instalco AB has acquired the shares of VIP-Sähkö Oy with a transaction completed on 1.7.2019.
VIP-Sähkö, an electrical installation company founded in 2008, is located near Helsinki-Vantaa international airport. In 2018/2019 the company’s turnover was € 9,5 million.
– VIP-Sähkö specializes in electrical installation of residential construction. This is a specialization we haven’t had in Finland before. With this acquisition we strengthen our position in Finland’s electrical installation market and now we have the chance for solid co-operation with many other companies in the Instalco Group, Robin Boheman, Instalco’s business area manager of Finland, says.
The main line of business of VIP-Sähkö is electrical planning and installation for apartments. The scope of projects is usually 30-250 apartments. The Company has 45 employees and it has orders in the cities of Helsinki, Lahti, Riihimäki and Hyvinkää. Main customers are large, Nordic construction companies, such as YIT, NCC, PEAB and SRV.
The Company was founded by Antti Juvonen and Jukka Räsänen. Both will continue in their roles with the company after the transaction.
