Sale of CogniMed to Mehiläinen
3J Partners Oy acted as financial advisor to the sellers
in a transaction where CogniMed Oy, a provider of speech and occupational therapy services, was sold to Mehiläinen. As a result of the acquisition, 80 therapy professionals will transfer to Mehiläinen as existing employees and CogniMed will continue its operations as an independent company under Mehiläinen. The transaction has no impact on personnel or customers. The acquisition strengthens Mehiläinen’s therapy service offering in Helsinki, Espoo, Turku and Tampere.

The company was founded in 2014 and currently employs 80 people. CogniMed’s revenue was approximately EUR 6.6 million in 2023.

Mehiläinen is one of Finland’s largest providers of health and social services. The company operates in Finland, Sweden, Germany and Estonia. Mehiläinen’s revenue in 2023 was approximately EUR 1,850 million and the company served approximately 2.1 million customers.
